Romney Sheep

We farm on top of the North Downs, which can be cold and windy. Many breeds of sheep just do not survive on this ground, but the Romneys are ideally suited to it. They are relatively easy care, easily surviving on less rations than other breeds of sheep.

The Romney has a fleece which is thick and lusterous and of a high quality. It can withstand the biting winds better than most.

I enjoy showing my Pedigree Romneys and have done well in the last few years, winning Champion Romney at the Royal Show, Reserve Champion at the Kent Show and Champion Romney at the South of England Show.
