MEAT FOR THE FREEZER
The Pork comes in two box sizes.
A Half Pig box or a Quarter Pig box.
With the Half box you would get: The back leg cut into
2 or 3 joints, whichever you require.
The Shoulder which is Boned & Rolled and can be cut into 2 joints or left whole.
The Loin which can be boned and rolled or left as approx 18 big chops.
The Hand joint, which you can have as a Joint or turned into Sausages. And the Belly
which you can have as Slices, left whole or again turned into Sausages
If the Hand and Belly used, with 1/2 pig box you would get approx 6 - 10lb of Sausages.
The Quarter box consists of:
1 Joint from the Back Leg. Half of the Boned & Rolled Shoulder.
Half of the Loin as chops or joint.
Half of the Hand as sausages, and Half of the Belly as Slices or Sausages.
Again if Hand & Belly used you would get approx 4 lb of Sausages
£ 6.50 per kilo for Joints and Chops
£7.30 per kilo for Sausages.
Sausage Flavours: Pork, Pork & Sage, Pork & Apple, Pork & Leek and Pork & Garlic, Pork with Chilli and Leek, Pork with Cracked Pepper
Half Pig (Approx £90 -£120 ) or
Quarter Packs.( Approx £50- 70)
£ 60 for Half lamb
£ 120 for Whole Lamb.
The Back Leg left as a whole Joint or cut into half.
The Shoulder as whole, halved or boned & rolled.
The Loin as Chops or Joint.
Cutlets as Chops or Rack.
Neck Filleted for Casseroles.
Every 2-3 months we have Pedigree Beef available, either as boxes or just Joints etc.
In a box of Beef, there will be various Joints including: Topside/Silverside,
the lovely Slow Roasting Brisket. Stewing Steak, Braising Steak, Sirloin Steak, Rump Steak, Frying Steak, Shin and MInce.
The approx cost of a box is £70 - £75. Box priced at £9.50 a kilo.
